How can I convince my mom and dad to get me a phone

well i want a RAZR phone but my mom and dad are still thinking. and when they say that, that means no. so how can I convince them to say YES???

Tell them that you really need a cell for Emergency and so when your hanging out with your friends  they can call you to see if your alright!

also you can tell your parents you will do good in school and do extra chores around the house!

Tell them that while you want a RAZR, you realize that it is expensive and you can use any phone. And tell them that you will do more chores around the house, to make up for the monthly charges.

I was in the same situation about the Razr. Considering I'm only 13 I had to think of really good reasons why i should have it. In the end I did get it. Try to follow rules, do extra chores, make some money and pay for some of it and also try not to fight with siblings. If this doesn't go over well theres always the back-up plan....write a paragraph on how responsible you are. You parents should understand and explain to them all about emergency's and stuff. Also if you do end up getting a cell phone you should get it with rogers on pay as you go. If you live in canada you can get a razr from Best Buy for only $100 with a $50 rebate.
