How can I convince my mom to let me get my bellybutton pierced?

Maybe for my birthday in August. She has hers pierced, so she would help me take care of it. But I'm scared to ask cause I'm afraid she will think I'm trying to attract boys or I'm copying my other friend who got it done at my age..any tips?

in my opinion if you really wanna get it. get it. but infections run high at belly button due to sweat and all that plus your shirts.

yeah leave your belly button alone, you'll regret it when you get older and get pregnant, trust me, it is not attractive
