How can I convince my mom to stop my punishment?

Im a 13, my mom forces me to wear bras with full support and coverage, 4 hooks in the back. . I hate but she's stubborn. We had several arguments over this.A montha ago I really lost my temper, got a pair of scissors and in front my mom cut up 3 of the bras she gave me. I apologized but my mom got REALLY mad at me. Punishment: She took me to a lingerie store and got me those bras called long line that covers all of your torso and have 10 hooks in the back, made of very thich tissue. I've been wearing them EVERYDAY and they are kinda uncomfortable, MUCH worse than my other bras. I gotta wear all the time, except in bed. It's summer those bras suck, I hate them. I'm not totally grounded, I can have fun but wearing thems. I asked her to stop the punishment, made fusses, but she says fusses wont work and I still need a lesson and will keep wearing those bras. How can I convince her to let me wear other bras, I HATE those things! They are confining and hot, make me sweat,a nd it's summer

I'm assuming that you're busty and that's why your mom insisted on the full support bras in the first place.  But regardless, your mother bought you expensive and appropriate lingerie and you desrespected her and showed a complete lack of consideration for the money that she spent on you and I applaud her for coming up with a appropriate punishment to make you appreciate the items you destroyed.  The only way you can convince her to buy you new & more comfortable bras is to accept your punishment and admit that you were very wrong and deserve your punishment, because you were and you do!!

Your mother is trying to teach you the lost art of appropriate undergarments.  And while you may later choose not to wear them, at least you will know what they are which is something most girls your age do not know.

I think she is trying to get through to you that it could be worse and that there is consequences for your actions, she will probably let up once she believes that you have learned those lessons until then I would recommend you just grin and bear it. change them everyday if you can the more they are washed the more they will soften up. next time remember that losing your temper just makes it worse for you in the end, OK?

No I do not think it is too harsh, the importance of good support can not be stressed enough, I have large ones and I wear good bras but I still have intentions in my shoulders and my back hurts in the evenings.

And not having the proper support for your blossoming figure can hurt you well into the future.

Why the heck do you need 4 hooks?  I hope you're busty and she is not being  too over protective .  Mom sounds a little controlling. Being a parent my self, I would  give you a second chance.

I think she should have made you pay for them as well. I think she's being very forgiving buying you any at all after that! Do you have a clue how expensive they are?

You are probably too young to know what a comfortable bra is yet.

I wear 4 hooks? And I'm 13? And I like them? Lol, just don't wear the bras who cares. What's she gonna do litteraly force it on you? Doubt it.

well if i were your mom i would have kicked your a** and then made you work to buy your own d*** clothes  then make you buy your clothes and get your own money to go hang out with your friends.....man give your mother some respect who cares if you dont like the bras mn she had to work to get those bras and buy your clothes also if your living with her or both your parents she always does the best she can to provide for your family. now i dont know you or your mom but who ever she is have some respect.....

well let see your mom made you wear support bra so your not hanging all over the place like most girls these day. Guess you should have excepted it and left it at that. stop bugging her now about what you have to wear now put babypowder on everyday before getting dress and it will absord some sweat and just except it until she see you have then she will probable let you wear normal bra again

At 13, if you actually need full support with 4 hooks, then your mother is trying to protect you from yourself. When you get out of the merry widows, you will welcome the ones with only 4 hooks. If you are not that fully developed, then maybe she should talk to your dr about proper support for your young figure.
