How can I convince my mother to keep sky digital?

My mother and and father are always giving out about how much sky digital costs and how they never get to watch it

(For those of you that don't know what sky digital is, it is a satellite television service in the UK and Ireland, here is the wikipedia page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sky_Digital_(UK_&_Ireland) )

We have this really old sky digibox from 2000 that is really obsolete and my parents a paying more on it than they need to (63euro per month)

They could be saving money by getting sky multiroom and sky HD

(sky multiroom is an offer that gives you a second sky digibox and you can watch different channels in a different room for just 15euro extra each month)

(And sky HD is a new thing on sky that you can record television and pause and rewind all in HD quality)

Also they can get a cheaper package of channels as we don't even watch some of them

And my mother is threatening to get rid of sky altogether because she says it will affect my scores at school

But if we get sky HD I will be able to record the stuff I want to see so I will be able to watch them at the weekend

And if we get sky multiroom we will all be happy as they will be able to watch the stuff they want to watch and my foster sisters and I will be able to watch the stuff we want to watch

Though my Dad seems enthusiastic About getting sky HD along with sky multiroom

So how can I convince my mother?

Offer to do the dishes every weekend for a year or some other "bribe" .
