Here's a great idea.  Wait until you are grown up, get a job, a wife, a family....then listen to your own spoiled as.s kid whimper and whine because he doesn't have "the latest and greatest" boat like all his friends have.  Then decide if it's worth investing thousands and thousands of dollars just to please a stupid teenager!!!

Wake specific boats are pretty expensive and you don't need a wake specific boat to wakeboard.  Any boat with enough horse power to pull you up could be weighted enough to produce a nice wake to ride behind.  In fact, riding behind a regular I/O or outboard will force your mechanics to be better.

take your dad out on your friends sweet *** mastercraft x30 and he will be hooked. Thats what i did.

Sometimes you can't so settle for second best. Ask them to rent one for you as a present for your birthday or Christmas. Ask them to help you get a job so you can save money to buy a wake boat.

Come up with a savings plan so you can work toward buying one. Divide the cost of the boat by your hourly wage by the number of hours you will work per week to see when you can afford one.
