How can I convince my parents to get me a guinea pig?

I really want a guinea pig more than anything. My dad said I can't have one til after christmas. I don't want to wait that long though. I asked him how I can get it sooner and he said to quit asking about it. But he says that everytime I want somthing really bad and he always forgets about it. So when I ask him he still says I have to wait. So I never get the things I realllllllllllllly want. PLEASE HELP ME.

im currently trying to convince my parents to let me have a rat(u should read about them   great pets)  what u do is a bunch of chores that ur not told to do and they will realise u really want it and are responsible.      gooD lucK!

Tell them that you really want one to show that you can be responsible and take care of something yourself.

Show them that you are responsible and that they can trust you.

You never know they may want to get you one as a christmas present, in that case you will have to wait... Unless you do what i do and say can i have it as an early christmas present and have less on the actual day, this may work.

Get a plant or something that's really hard to take care of. Make a deal and say "If I keep this plant alive for a month, can I have a guinea pig?"

My parents do that to. Make a powerpoint and make it really professionally and responsibly. Use big words (know what they mean) and dress professionally when you present it. I did it and my parents were like, "Wow! How do you do that? You're so smart!" They aren't tech-savvy so they were amazed. Be really professional though. It worked for me. You could also write as five page report on how responsible you are and why you need one now. I did that and I got my cat. Just do something that looks like it requires alot of work so they are amazed.
