How can I convince my parents to get me a hamster?

I asked my parents if I can get a hamster and they said no because they don't want another pet. We only have a dog. I have been acting very responsible and I just did really well on my report card. I need reasons to get a hamster!

Hamsters are a very good way to hold responsibility.

They are like your own child in the way that you have to feed it let it play and get exersice.

When you tell your parents that you want a hamster tell them that you would like somthing that YOU can take care of something that YOU can be responsible for.

Also Hamsters aren't a huge bother. They are perfectly content just running around on thier wheel.

Hamsters also aren't like other animals most place like i said before allow small animal(excluding ferrets) because they don't need to be left out of their cage for hours and they also arn't noisy.
