How can I convince my parents to get me an American Girl Doll?

I am dying to have an american girl doll, just one doll! I can do it with my own money and everything but they say no. I've been begging for 3 years now and I can't take it any longer. I MUST have an American Girl doll NOW, NOW, and NOW!!! This is urgent!!! Thanks to anyone who answers!!!

I love American Girls! I have Kaya, Kit, Ivy, and Bitty Baby.

Go to the website and show it to your parents. Show them the "Fun For Girls" section and the shopping section. This will show them that the dolls are high- quality. Tell them that they are "an investment in your future!"

Perhaps the reasons you can't get one is because they are so expensive. Try earning money to buy one. Do extra chores, odd-jobs, anything you can think of.

That is so sad! I got mine 3 years ago and thought it was my bff! You could tell them that you are only young once and when you grow up you will never have the memories of a favorite doll, you could even cry while saying it. That would give them a guilt trip! Good luck and I hope that you will get even more than one doll, cuz good things come to girls that wait! (maybe). Are you going to Kit Kittredge an American Girl Movie? I'm going tomorrow!

Just like my parent's ... They won't let me buy anything with my momey.... Then my birthday came up and instead of having a party I told I would like an American Girl Doll.. My B-day is in December and I got the Girl of the Year Nickii... So I told them to hurry up and get me it...... Loosen them up a bit... Tell them I won't get anything else for some months......... Also don't say Everyone has one....

Tell them that you will have childhood memeories!

Also show them what everyone on here said.........

Bring them to the computer and show what everyone wrote... and it should help......

Well, if you are spending your own money on it then I don't see the problem if that i what you want to spend it on.  Although I still think that those dolls are kinds of expensive.  Hey though, I have spent money on things that make some people wonder.
