How can I convince my parents to let me get a bunny?

I really want one but my parents say no. They say 'You know we're out of town a lot' but we NEVER are!!!!! Even if we were we could just take the bunny with us since the only place we ever go is just a ferry ride away. But if we went farther away, what should I do? My friends say their parents never let an animal set foot in their house and I don't think my grandparents or my sister would want to take care of it... Answers please!!!

I am in same position! I really want a rabbit. What I am doing is making al these plans to prepare for it and researching it and evrrything before I ask. I hope it works! I just do all the chores and take care of my cat and hope for the best!
