  1. lie to them and tell them you will clean the cage every day and take care of it because  hamsters a lot of work and you have to clean the cage all the time and you have to keep buying new sawdust. and why would you want one they dont do anything except look cute and hamsters hate being picked up.

if your still thinking of getting one i bet if you tell them you are going to hang out with boys then they will get you a hamster.

  2. Research everything you need for your new furry buddy.

Decided which type of hamster you are going to get, I got a dwarf hamster. They are so cute! Then make a list of everything you will buy when you buy your hamster and show them you searched for everything your hamster needs and at a cheap price! Show them you're responsible to take care of a hamster!

You can also try to take your parents to the pet store and look at the hamsters and say..."loook! aren't they cuute!? can we get it!? (you should've brought along the list you made earlier) i wrote down everything i neeed!!" and hopefully...your parents would give in. actually, if it didn't work the first time..just keep asking them and try to make a second visit to the pet store!

If you go, go to Petsmart, because i think it's cleaner there.

And if you decided to get a dwarf hamster, get a Russian dwarf hamster because the roborovski ones are small and fast so they might escape.

    Anyway..good luck!

  3. Tell them that you decided that you want an alligator.

  4. Tell them you will keep it in your room and if it dies its all your fault.

  5. Well you can do what I do...I just take the hamster home not caring what they are going to say. It works everytime for me. And I also do that to all my pets.

Owner of snakes, hamsters, and a dog.

  6. tell them to make you a contract saying you'll do all the work for you to sign. That way they can't pull "We're gonna be doing all the work." speech.

  7. wellll.... i put up posters around the house and raised money so i could pay for it. and i begged. :o)

  8. Tell them it is clean, small and fairly easy to take care of, with no real need for very much space.  It teaches responsibility and has some health benefits.  Owning a Hamster can help with heart disease, cholesterol, and depression!

In addition, the standard life span is small enough that they will not be left with the care of your pet when it is time for you to move out.

  9. do xtra chores.make a book of info.keep your room clean.help your mom more.hope that works for you cuz it sure didn't get me my rat. ,<3   rats rule.so do hamsters.that my 2 choice.
