How can I cope without my wife?

i'm going on a business trip for 6 month without my wife which means no s*x for a long time & I dont wanna cheat on her.

And here's another trick to stay faithful!  Take the movie "FATAL ATTRACTION" with you.  It will so-o-o-o-o-o turn you off over the notion, even, of an affair. . . .the issue will be "moot" by the time the credits role !!!!!!

I've been a Soldier for 9 years now.  I get separated from my wife a lot.  Just focus on your job, and find things to keep you busy.  I find that it helps to set up a routine.  One day I go here and do this.  Next day I go there and do that.  I call her on certain days.   Find things to occupy your mind, and just steer clear of women that may tempt you.

I suspect someone in your componay has the make on your wife;./ Change jobs and move away to protect the marriage.

Being in the military I have been apart from my wife for up to 15 months one time, 12 months another, and just now three weeks for a mission.  There is web cams, phone s*x, and even things to buy at the s*x shops.  If you really love your wife you won't cheat.  Stay out of strip bars and other places that cause temptation.

You can do it, if you really love her it is not that hard.

My husband was deployed in Iraq for 18 months and we managed w/o s*x for that time. You will make it through, it will not be easy, but just try to put those thoughts in the back of your mind. Call your wife every night for a little s**y talk. Also I like what the one guy said about a web cam.  Be creative.

you poor 'lil guy.Has it occurred to you how she might cope without you,without your support,security,company ...thats what love is.Go forth realising that faithfulness IS love, proving your love of your  wife  by your actions ... then when your six months are up, because of your faithfulness, shell probably be so attracted to you and amorous that you'll be begging her off. Have her come and visit you on occassions - talk dirty to each on the phone, keep busy, and get an accountability partner to call when you feel weak.  Try not to give into temptation.  Stay away from bars where single women are.  Take a book along to read that your wife and you can discuss over the phone.

Take your personal laptop and purchase a mini camera for it and your home computer.  This will allow you to stay in contact with the family or wife nightly.  As a retired business traveler, this is what kept me sane during those long trips, it was great to see the kids and talk to them.  After the kids went to bed it was always nice to have the wife to myself.  Good luck.

Your not going to cheat, your just going to find something else to do with your time.

When my job took me to Tampa, Florida and my stay away from home was three-months believe me when I say this, that when you start going out to clubs and drinking your gonna bump into elegible ladies and that is where the trouble starts because after a few drinks temptation is not what you will anticipate...it's her notions to pursue after hearing your situation that locks you down. She will drive you and that leaves you very little to argue about.
