I've looked through tons of stores and websites, but no matter what i can't find a bedding set that has pink(to tie in the rug), and reds(to match the many red Japanese items i have). I'm planning on painting the walls a neutral brownish color and have have bought a set from Bob's furniture that's a dark brown wood. I also have this huge dark wooden fan with a peacock on it that has turquoise, pinks and reds in it. I have no idea how to mesh any of these together. Any suggestions???

  1. look up

    ANIME

  2. you can check nordstrom or you can go to google.com and click on the shopping link in the top left corner with all the other links then type pink bedding set and it will give a ist of websites where they sell them and how much they sell 'em for :)

  3. Hello Kitty statues

  4. Two Japanese theme'd things that I always thought were lovely for decoration were Cherry blossoms painted on walls (also I think it would look nice with neutral brown) & the Japanese folding screens, Byobu I believe they're called. Good luck, have fun =)

  5. red walls, with pink orchid flower pictures to tie it in

  6. paint the walls tan and get a pink bedspread and decorate the walls and anything else you think with japanese wirting or idea! Hope it helps!

  7. You can maybe do like a Japanese Cherry Blossom theme? If the pink carpet is too overpowering, covering it with a brown or black rug would be a good balance. Having a couple of laterns hanging in the corner or on your night stand, a platform bed..more of the Asian feel.Think simple.

    Hope this helps.

  8. O i wish i could help you more!!!lol i can already see a great idea for your room!!

What i can tell you here is:

-The pink rug could tie in with a the theme of a japenese cherry tree(very beautiful)

-The brown walls sound good..I would get some of that blue paint tape and have white boarders.

-Your bed well first i wouldnt have a frame i would just let it lay on the ground but you would want to have a nice comforter ((i'd go with a plain really fluffy white one if you can't find anything elese))

-Your furniture...the Japenese compromise on alot actully they don't really have alot of furniture. Maybe have a good sized black table that is no higher than your bed(without the frame).....

good luck in whatever you do i hope you are satisfied with your new sanctuary.

  9. I'm thinking maybe pull the turqoise from the fan and get a turqoise bedding set, and choose a pink comforter. I would probably then find some more japanese art in red and black. Maybe some framed (frames black) calligraphy? If you plan on keeping the pink carpet I would take it easy on the red. Don't leave it out, just don't make anything central red. Good luck

  10. oritental flowers!

  11. cherry blossoms?

  12. maybe you should get a new rug?

  13. Throw rugs are cheap

  14. I guess you'll have to get rid of the rug, or get an area rug, (if you really meant wall to wall pink broadloom) in the colours that will work with your theme and put the area rug overtop of the carpeting.

  15. haha, first guy

in addition to 2nd - sailor moon

    other anime

probably not a tea-room theme with pink floors

  16. lol why dont u change the rug

why dont u make a comforter 2 match or get one custome made...

  17. well just because its a pink rug doesn't mean you can't use it in your room. so far it sounds like a pretty room, the furniture and fan sound really cool :) next up you may wanna try some posters of Japanse symbols etc. like this one

plus you can add throw pillows on your bed (or if you have a chair or mini-sofa) that are pink and red. turquoise is a beautiful color and i would probably just leave it as is. have it be the little "pop!" color that a neutralish brown room may need.
