  1. you can open my computer right click on the floppy drive select "format" and check the option that states "make MS-Dos startup disk" then click format, make sure you have a empty disk in the drive

  2. you need to have the CD.  Xp is not like 98 where you could build your own install cd.  If you do not have access to a cd, look for a torrent site where you could download the media. You will still need a seriel number to activate

  3. By doing illegal stuff.

Seriously, if you need a free system, use GNU/Linux, it's better anyway.

Yes, making a copy of Windows is illegal, even if you own a Windows system, and it is only for you, not profit.  When you buy Windows, you buy the privilege to _USE_ the contents of the CD, you still don't _OWN_ the system,  and can only use it how Microsoft says you can use it.

GNU/Linux systems are considered free software, not because the cost nothing (they don't always do), but free as in freedom; you actually buy the system, and can use it however you want, even make copies and sell them.  And most are freeware, meaning the cost nothing too!

  4. I can never condone the use of pirated software and its completely unnecessary in this day and age. Consider taking a look at Linux. There are some some cracking easy to use distros. these days and all open source.

Here are some worth considering :

    Mandriva 2008.1 Spring http://www.mandriva.com/

    SimplyMEPIS 7.0 http://www.mepis.org/

    Ubuntu 7.10 http://releases.ubuntu.com/7.10/ (My Preference)

    Ubuntu 8.04.1 http://releases.ubuntu.com/hardy/

    Linux Mint 5.0 http://www.linuxmint.com/

All are easy to install and easy to use.

    LUg.

  5. www.bootdisk.com

They will have everything you need to know.

  6. to create a boot disk it is best to use winiso. If you have windows xp iso image extract it into a folder and then drag it into the win iso. Then you could create the iso. Burn this iso into a cd using magic iso.
