I would like to create a couple of shortcuts on my desktop that would start the music in a Yahoo! Music Jukebox Playlist without any further mouse clicks or keystrokes. My computer is kind of slow. I just want to have the music start without having to hover around the computer until the program is ready for me to take the next step.

This is usually handled with a startup switch, but I cann't find any documentation for switches for this program.

I don't think there is currently a way to do what you want.  The best you could do is create a file that ends with .pls or .m3u and in that file describe the music to be played.  However, the above playlist files have no relationship to the playlists under YMJ.  I like your idea better.
