How can I create a name other than my e-mail address at the poker table?

one for playing

and another for email

You don't say which site you are trying to do this.  I have played on most of the sites at one time or other and I have yet to had my e-mail as a name.  In all the ones I play at, you create your name when you create your account.  I would call technical support (full tilt and poker stars have always been helpful) on the toll free number that is provided.  I am assuming you are talking about one of the primary online poker sites.  If you are talking about yahoo (I guess they have poker, I have seen people ask about it on here) I couldn't answer that.
