Question:

How can I cry on command?

I'm doing a play out of school and I have to cry. Not fake it because there will be cameras showing me on a big screen (eek!)

I can't cry if I think of bad things only when I see bad things.

But I don't want to watch a vid about dieing animals or somthing cause then it will be stuck in my head for days.

Any ideas?

  1. Just rub an onion on your fingers before you go on, and when you need to cry, rub your eyes with you fingers.

  2. Picture someone in the audience like your parent (somebody you care about) dieing. If that doesn't work, rub onions on your eyelids and under your eyes.

  3. Stick and onion in you're eyes

  4. Use an onion before rehearsals, think of something sad, pretend its your wedding and you are standing in front of you significant other.

  5. Since you can only cry when the moment is right, I say put a safe eye irritant on your fingers. Then, when your moment of glory arrives, put your hands to your face as a grieving person would and rub the invisible tears away while making real ones by rubbing onion juice or sum such under your eyes. The real streams of tears will have the audience convinced your headed to Hollywood!!!
