  1. it's so easy!you should sign in to y!360 and then click on my page bottom(on the top of the page)then you can change your profile, lists, etc.!

    good luck!

  2. click on my page(next to home on top right hand side) when on your 360 page then use your mouse and where blue writing is click on it...for example start a blog or edit lists then fill in all your info!

  3. First, you'll need to read and try to experiment with the basic information available:

    - IMPORTANT!: Thoroughly read the 360 COMMUNITY GUIDELINES at http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/360/gui...

    - HELP Pages: http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/360/ , where there is instruction on creating a customized background (http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/360/pro... ), making a blog (http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/360/blo... ) and using permissions (http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/360/per... ).

    - For MORE TIPS see some of my previous answers on various Y!360 & Y/A subjects by clicking on my avatar and scrolling down to click on my "Starred Questions" tab. Also, my 360 blog (http://blog.360.yahoo.com/kee_y360 ) has tags "360 tips", "vids", "music" on the left and highlighted posts on the right that can help as well.

    - For IDEAS you can check out other 360 pages by clicking on your "Search" link at the top of 360 or by going to http://360.yahoo.com/search.html

    - The 360 team blog at http://blog.360.yahoo.com/product_360 has many helpful links on the right side to help with setting up a 360 space and using other services with it.

NOTE: Some features are not available to users under age 18 for safety reasons.

Keep in mind that 360 is a beta version, so there will be bugs. Certain modules hardly work at all - like the "Share Photos" and "Reviews" module. The "Feeds" module works every few months for many people. You can't contact the Y!360 team about it because the service will be transitioning and integrating with a new platform in the second half of 2008 and they are no longer fixing bugs. See http://blog.360.yahoo.com/product_360 for more details or the "Yahoo! 360 News" link in the upper right corner of your 360 space.

Make sure to check how other people view your page by clicking on the drop down menu "Preview as seen by" at the top right of your 360 "My Page". Choose a permission group and click the "Go" button.

Then, after you get comfortable with doing what's listed through the above resources, you can do some extra things. BUT you are limited in what Y!360 can display. For example, the blog area - because of the loosening up of the "coding" restrictions - is where you can be the most creative.

HOW? Using "embed" codes for various widgets, videos, games and music, you can make your 360 more interactive and multimedia. Just go to websites that will provide those codes & copy them (you may have to make some adjustments) to add whatever object to your blog.

    GENERAL EMBED OBJECT INSTRUCTIONS:

    - Select the EMBED code you want to copy, then right-click to select "Copy."

    - Compose a new blog entry

    - Check the "View HTML Source" box that's on the upper right corner of your entry's toolbar, position your cursor in the entry content area and right-click to choose "Paste."

    - Uncheck the box to get back to the regular blog screen.

    - You may not see the object until after you save the entry.

WARNING: Do not save your entry with out adding some text. Now, it's entirely possible that even with doing the above, the chat box will not work. Simply, not all codes - even certain EMBED ones - will not work in 360. Typically, ones that work begin with <embed object=" ">. Java and javascript based codes will not work. Most Flash codes will work.
