  1. Honestly, run faster. If you are running as fast as you can, and still not that much difference, then eat foods and take vitamins to simulate your muscles, etc.

  2. This is going to be quite a challenge so first you need to remain disciplined. You can incorporate sprinting in your long distance running to improve your run time. Also, you can do squats and the like to strengthen your leg muscles. Buy a stopwatch, set goals for yourself, and stick to them. Good Luck!

  3. I agree 3 mints in so little time is hard but you can cut your times. First run 3 different type of runs, speed run of 400's at 10% under your mile time do 4x 400 with a 2 mint jog in between without stoping do your next, when you do these next week increse to 6 and so onup to around 10. If they get easy cut your rest time down

Next are recovery runs, run at a pce you could talk to someone next to you without breathing to hard for at least 3 to 4 miles.

next are Long runs, run slow and easy at least 6 miles

of course this goes by the assumption you have been training for awhile.

Run 5 days a week, 1 to 2 speed sesions the rest recovery and 1 long run at the end of the week

  4. this is almost impossibal to accomplish but... try running long intervals....

run a mile. take a minute break. run a 100m sprint.

run two miles. take a minute break. run a 200m sprint.

    ext ext

the sprints will help your muscles gain strength to be able to have that extra kick in your run.

the jogs are just common sense for a long distance runner

    GOOOD LUCK
