  1. well if you want to use firefox instead, just download firefox, remove the explorer icon off your desktop, and make firefox your deafult browser

  2. You cannot delete IE - Microsoft doesn't allow it. Simply install Firefox and use :)

  3. You don't need to delete internet explorer. Just install firefox and save it to your deskop and then when istalled double click on it and it should come on. And when you want to use firefox just double click on it.  But you can still use internet explorer as well

  4. Don't delete it. Windows updates are ONLY compatible with IE. IE is very important for what little use there is for it.

  5. what does it mean when everytime i go to open pictures i always get windows installer coming up on the screen and my pics won't open

  6. You can't delete IE because it's part of Windows all you can do is delete the icon from your desktop. If you try to delete the IE file you are going to cause some problems to your OS so just leave it alone. you don't have to delete IE even if you could, just download firefox and use that.

  7. Install Firefox at mozilla.com

You don't need to delete IE but if you want to then go to Control Panel->Add/Remove Programs and look for it and click remove.

  8. under search look for IEXPLORE.EXE....find location and delete!

  9. Trying to delete IE could corrupt critical operating system files, render Outlook Express inoperable and make it impossible to download security and software/hardware patches.

Just install Firefox over the top and use it.

  10. don't delete explorer..sum websites firefox can't go on

  11. It's best NOT to delete internet explorer. I've been using Firefox since it came out and even though I prefer to use it, there have been times when it got so buggy that it wouldn't open. That's when I turned to the ever reliable, yet completely clunky IE to download and install updates for Firefox. It's always a good idea to have options and I've been running both on XP for as long as I can remember.

    Good luck!

  12. You don't need to delete ie. You can install firefox and make it your main browser.

  13. you don't have to uninstall IE to get Firefox,

to get Firefox just go to mozilla.com

  14. I dont think that you can delete Interent Explorer. But all that you need to do is just install Fire Fox and set it as your  primary browswer.

  15. just install firefox and when you start firefox it will ask you if you want to set firefox your defult broswersay yes and you should be fine

  16. I had a problem with IE after making Firefox my default browser. IE would open when I clicked on a link; and then just hang there, trying to connect. I got tired of it, and went into control panel >add/remove and zapped that browser! Other times I've had to download Firefox and use search to find the exe. file, then installed from that.

  17. Under C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer or something like that there should be an uninstall program.  It may be named something like Unins1000.exe.

But before you do that you have to download firefox installer off http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/

Once you have that install firefox and uninstall IE.

You should be able to have both if you can't remove IE.

I have both just only use Firefox

  18. You shouldn't delete IE. Just download firefox and it will ask you if you want to make it your default browser, click yes.
