How can I delete Y360 without interfering with my other Yahoo services.?

You can not delete your 360 but you can hide it

Remove your friends or send them a message you are closing your page

Remove personal photos or set to private or just me

Remove personal information and type in Fake info and ID

Also set to private or just me

Uncheck the URL box

Uncheck the communication boxes- you do nt want to receive any messages from 360.

Set your Blogs to private or just me.

Basically it is setting everything to private or just me. And unchecking the boxes. Save all you have changed and leave the page ,do not go back.

The page will soon be close or will be when the new social network opens

So, if you don't want to completely lose your Yahoo ID, then I suggest removing all content and information that you added to Yahoo! 360. Make all your settings (basic info, blog, communication, and every module on your "My Page") set to "Friends" or "Just Me (Private)".  The "Just Me (Private)" setting is preferred, but if you don't have that option choose "Friends." Delete all your friends (see http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/360/fri... ). Change the background back to the default version - either called the "custom" or "classic" theme. Then, that's it.

You can't completely get rid of the 360 functionality without deleting your entire Yahoo account (mail, photos, etc.). You can only make sure no one who you haven't invited can view a feature and make sure that there's nothing there to view.
