How can I delete my previous searches from my yahoo search bar?

I was searching for a gift and the person that it is for also uses this computer. I don't want her to see my searches and ruin the surprize. If you double click the search bar it shows the previous searches. Can this be deleted?

It sounds like you have Autocomplete turned on. Go to Tools>>Internet Options>>Content>>Autocomplete... and then clear the forms and passwords. Then you can delete your cookies and temporary internet files. You will then have everything completely cleared out.

there are 2 ways to do this. the first one works depending on your computer/your computer settings, but go to tools>internet options>general> and then delete everything under "temporary internet files". if that doesnt work, then go to tools>internet options>content>auto complete> and then clear forms, and it definitely will. hope that helps!

If you use FIREFOX:

Tools

Clear Private Data

Check all boxes

Select "Clear private Data Now"

It will all be gone

OR:

If you use EXPLORER:

Tools

Internet Options

Clear History

OK

Done
