2. If this doesn't work out, send an e-mail to the group owner telling him/her to stop mailing you. ([e-mail])

If these still didn't work for you try the following options:

Just a heads up - I've heard from several members that the  -unsubscribe email doesn't work in a timely manner. So I'd suggest you go to the home page and edit your membership to "leave the group."

Emailing the moderators is a good second choice. But in any case, Yahoo sometimes takes up to 3 days to register such changes, so you may have to be patient.

Yahoo answers won't let me post the entire email in one shot,so remove the spaces around the '@' and the '-':

You should be able to send an email to "vacaville_freecycle - unsubscribe @ yahoogroups.com"

and be removed.
