How can I delete search box....?

Question

I don't mean the history, I mean the informations on the search box.

I know I should go to tools but I forgot what should I do.

May some body help.

Go to Tools, Internet Options, Delete Browsing History, Delete Froms...

This is for ie 7.0.5730.11

If it doesn't work... click on Delete All... cz I know it works... but am not sure exactly which one!

It depends on your search box.

Some (like google) allow you to just click the options button (just next to the text field) and click "Clear Search History"

This will not delete the places you have been. It will only delete the criteria that you have searched for.

You might also try to turn off Auto Complete (Auto complete helps you find something on the internet that you have searched for in the past.)

With this on all a user has to type to find lets say  "s*x toys"

is the first 2 letters se

So in theory a 5 year old searching for "Seasame Street" could indeed find the same results as the previous search.
