How can I delete the Yahoo "Search Faster" web search facility ?

on my tool bar there is a Yahoo "Search Faster" web browser which retains the search history, using the conventional tools and delete search history/clear browser does not affect this yahoo facility - and it is a real pain ! Any help is appreciated

1. Click the Windows "Start" button.

   2. Select "Control Panel" from the "Settings" menu.

   3. Double-click on "Add/Remove Programs".

   4. Scroll down and click on the "Yahoo! Toolbar" entry.

   5. Click on "Change/Remove."

   6. Close any open IE windows.

restart your computer and reopen your web browser
