How can I delete the picture attachments and photos

Question

These attachments and photos are from e-mails and some go back 5 years, how can I delete the ones that I don't want?

1. From the Photo View: Click on the Subject link located directly below the photo thumbnail. This will display the message that contains the file attachment. On this page, you can click the Delete button to delete the message and the attachments.

2.From the Attachment View: Click on the Message Subject for the thumbnail. This will display the message that contains the file attachment. On this page, you can click the Delete button to delete the message and the attachments.

3. From the Message View: Click the checkboxes next the messages you would like to delete, then click on the Delete button at the top of the page.You can also click on the Subject of the message to view the message, then delete the message from that page

what you may have to do is save email info to text document, and save image file to computer, and delete whole email in order to remove the attached file,

you could try forwarding email to self , but delete attachment, and then delete original email,
