  1. i click on start

    settings

    control panel

    internet options

under general, there will be three headings, home page, temp files and history...under history, you can change the number of days for your computer to store that info (i have 1 on mine) and then click on the "clear history" button.

    good luck!!

  2. If you have  Mozila, go to Tools -> Options -> Privacy -> Clear now

IE 7 Tools -> Internet Options -> Browser History -> Delete

Safari (for Mac) History -> Clear History

    Done!

    Good luck!

  3. First you can delete the history of where you've been...but this does not clean out the cache or the cookies.

You can delete those manually, but you will need to search to find the location in which they are stored in within your system.

You can also get one of these programs that deletes interenet activity...I personal use one called Evidence Eraser...it has also helped my PC stay efficent.  I am able to program which sites I want to keep the cookies and which ones I want deleted.

As for your "History Search"  A simple way is to run your cursor over your search box and click on the down arrow key that is hilighted...you will see every word you have searched...from here you can move your cursor down to the first word listed...it will now be hilighted and you simply hit delete...you can do this one at a time until you delete everthing in the history.

You also have some search engines with an option to delete search history.

Of course,  the other trick is to not search topics that you don't want to show up on your history.

    Take care and be safe
