  1. Try to burn it.  If it lights up with a bright blue at the bottom, and burns cleanly, there's alcohol in it.

  2. you drink the one that says cola not vodka

  3. You can usually smell it or taste it (atleast the after taste).  After you've drank a few you'll start to feel buzzed, so that would let you know.

  4. The answers above are right, but are you asking so you can tell if somebody's put alcohol in your drink? Or is it maybe somebody you know may be adding it to their own drink?

In these situations only experience can help. There's no 'trick' or 'skill'. If you've drank alcohol before in it's many flavours, you recognise it in most drinks. There can be a smell but a normal Vodka and Coke has very little smell and the taste can be mixed down.

Likewise, if you or whoever have a bottle of coke that doesn't taste right. Just leave it alone.

  5. check the label...it will tell you how much alcohol is in the bottle.

  6. You usually can smell it.

  7. There are 3 ways to check the drink contains alcohol or not:

    1. Check the label of the bottle or a can.

    2. Smell the drink. You need some skill to smell it...eg.experiences.

    3 Taste the drink.

Yes, you can add something to the drink, to decrease the percentage of alcohol. A very good example is ****-tail.

Another example... add 7-UP to beer = Shandy.

                                 add lime to vodka

                                 add ice to whisky....etc.

The mixture of the drinks are still contain alcohol but the percentage of alcohol is less than the original.
