For moments my heart start to beat preatty hard..how can I lower the palpitations rate?

  1. Drink a lot of water, exercise regularly.


  2. You should eliminate caffeine and excess sugar from your diet and see a doctor if it persists.

  4. Stopping palpitation is not the cure nor solution.  That can be achieved with one or two doses of medicines.   But to find the cause and address underlying reason is important when it comes to vital organs like heart.  

    Palpitation can be caused by nervousness, sudden noises and even coughing.  It can be caused by exertion and stress, It can be caused by acidity and excessive flatulence in stomach. Due to excitement, during menopause, due to anaemia, due to indigestion.

         It can be on account of major maladies like threatened heart failure, Dyspnea with palpitation, hysterical palpitations, with angina, with irregular heart beats etc. has to be taken seriously.

You've provided not much information here.  One of the ways I use to quiet my heart is to consume plenty of Potassium rich fruits.  Also, I try to eat a cup of Yogurt a day for the calcium content.  Lastly, eating bananas provides most of the minerals I need for a smooth heartbeat.  If you are deficient in Potassium - Calcium - Magnesium trio your heart may try to tell you by palpitations.
