How can I disable the alarm on my 2001 PT Cruiser. I took out the fuse & the alarm still goes off.

My RKE will engage the alarm but not disengage it. When I unlock the door manualy the alarm goes off til I start the car. After I stop the car I need to get out and then reach in the open window to turn the car off without opening the door in order to keep it from beeping. I would just like to disable it completely.

If its an aftermarket alarm just diconect it from the abttery, but if its a stock alarm if u remove the fuse you might be loosing some features on ur car. have u tried ur remote if u have one ? i

either you didnt disconnect the right fuse or look in the manual to find were the alarm is and unplug it
