Question:

How can I discipline myself to get to bed early?

I'm terrible for playing on the computer, surfing the net, completely wasting time and staying up far too late in the evenings. How can I get myself organised and get to bed before I waste all these hours and then wake up too tired in the morning?

  1. wake up really early in the morning.. then u'll definitely go to bed early. Just try not to sleep in the afternoon.

  3. There's a very simple way to halt this bad habit: get yourself out of bed earlier! If you do this, you will be up longer per day anyway, so, come bed time, you'll already be naturally tired.

    It works like a charm. Trust me.

  4. Set your alarm clock for the time you really should be getting ready for bed. When it goes off, close the computer down straight away, then go get your supper and then get to bed..   Oh, if only I could take my own advice !!!!!!!!!!!

  5. Set your alarm clock and put it across the room so when you get up in the morning no matter how tired you are from the night before you have to get out of bed, a few mornings of that will have you going to bed earlier... Or paying for it like I do :-p

  6. I'm just as bad and am always getting told off. I tried drawing up a rota once but I only stuck to it for one night.

    Just think to yourself "I'm going to bed now" and then go. :S I don't know. :S

  7. I tried setting my clocks later but then you look at it and you know what the REAL time is. Maybe you should do some exercise like in the late afternoon, early evening so you will be too tired to play those games... I dunno.

  8. Set your clock in your room ahead, then when you will think its much later than it is.
