Question:

How can I distract myself from eating too much?

I'm not fat or anything, but when there's alot of food around, I always go back and eat more of it.

I also drink alot of water so I would get more full so I wouldn't want to eat.

I chew gum all the time too, to distract my mouth.

But my minds always on the food in the kitchen....

    umm don't buy food i guess... i mean like don't starve urself but don buy a lot of food

    gum just makes u more hungrier, and its a known fact


  2. have you tried brushing your teeth?  I know exactly how you feel! It takes alot of will power... take all the muchies out of the kitchen, if it's not in the kitchen, you can't eat it :)

  3. There are lots of things you can do to distract yourself. I have found that video games are one thing, b.c it's hard to use the controller which requires both hands, while eating. And pausing the game every few seconds is a hassle. And also writing helps me a lot! I write fanfiction and poetry, which is why I don't eat as much as I used to. Like if I get this really great idea and I have to write it down right away... I type with both hands, so... It works for me. Basically, the best advice would be to get a hobby that involves using BOTH your hands, and that you can't just stop every few minutes. ^_^ That'll definetely keep you busy, and your mind will be on other things!  

  4. I have the same problem, I try to distract myself by reading or maybe watching tv sometimes But I avoid the food channel cause that doesn't help. You could sip water when u feel like you want to eat more. Sorry i'm probably not much help to you.

  6. ok sothat happens to me too and what i do is think stop!! eating so much because then ur going to gain weight so keep that in mind just eat small amounts don't go all crazy on food lol
