I have a 2003 Acura TL 3.2 type-s. Its front wheel drive. How do I do a burnout (with smoke)? Do I have to hold the brakes and the gas at the same time? I saw videos of people doing it on youtube and i want to do it. Would doing this damage my car?

  1. Put the car in first gear.

    Hold in the clutch.

    Rev. the engine.

Pull on the handbrake. Alternatively, you can skip this step.

    Do not release the clutch.

Move the handbrake up and down to control the burnout.

To stop the burnout ease off the accelerator and free the brake

  2. Automatic or Manual? pushing the gas and brake only works in a rear wheel drive, doing that in a front drive car will rip the brakes out or just put stress on your transmission. If its an automatic, pull the handbrake TIGHT, then put it in the lower gear and floor it. If its a manual, put the clutch in all the way, rev the engine to redline, then pop the clutch (let it out) and you'll burnout quite nicely

  3. No the E brake is the emergency brake, i Have a Mercedes AMG so i dont know what acuras are like but i just hold both the brakes and the gas down, but let off the brakes slowly until the cars tires start spinning
