How can I do it Better?

I love poetry with every bit of my heart. I am planning on expressing my poetry at a library and I want to do a great job. How can I capture the audience? What can I do? I am really confident and talk fast!! What can I do to be different than any other poet!!!

Pronounce your words as to give your listeners the effect that they are flowing out of your mouth and deeply into their hearts.  Read slowly, and follow through with your sentences when they cover more than one line of the poem - in other words, be careful not to pause or let your voice drop at the end of each line.  Good luck!

well if ur doin the spoken word thing make sure u pronounce your words clearly and if u speak fast do it with rhythm and timing or take it slow and let the words sink into your audience....
