Question:

How can I do my best on the team?

I'm new to the whole team sport thing, having not played much of anything since second grade. I'm in eighth now, and after a week or two of mostly watching to make sure I'm doing things right, I'm finally doing okay.

As a left guard, what are some things or workouts I can do, to be the very best I can be? Thanks!

  1. First of all you can stop whining like a little brat..and work harder. DO WHAT YOU COACH SAYS>>>He is the ultimate person in control


  2. Listen to coach.  Watch the linemen on tv.  Maybe read some books.  Practice your explosiveness by jumping from squats.  Improve your hand work via martial arts.  

    And lift a lotta weights and do a lotta pushups.  You gotta be really strong to play OLine.

  3. u should be aggressive as a left guard  push ups and speed to push opponent over try the perfect push ups system for 20$$ helps alot i use it

  4. my friends plays guard and he works out with Chin ups,sit ups,push ups. 40 yard dash.

    And if u are that good hold out untill u get a better contract like jason peters of the bills lol good luck

  5. Be aggressive. Get off the ball pasts. Work on the fundamentals.

    Also start lifting weights. Strength is a must on the offensive line.
