  1. If you have extra cloths laying around you should donate them to like good will or salvation army, If you want to help children in iraq cash is the best way to go.  The charitiess that help children in other countys especially like Iraq can do more with cash than bulk cloths becasue of shiping costs.  They buy it all in one place in bulk and ship it all at once, I have never heard of one that would even take a clothing donation.  I know thats prolly not what you wanted to hear but I hope it helps.

  2. How about the red cross or the salvation army?

  3. I know the 107th unit in Iraq is seeking clothing donations. contact Lt. Col. Deanna Miller at the 107th Air Refueling Wing at 716-236-3142 or 716-236-2468 for more info.

  4. Donate to the local women and childrens shelter instead. Depending where you live, here near the Smokey Mountains are families that are living in shacks on the mountains and we donate coats, hats, shoes, clothes, ect to them.

In major cities or even in smaller ones, there are women and child abuse shelters/ homeless shelters with families all over that would love to have them and desperately need them. I am not saying that I hate middle easterners, I am saying that we need to take care of what is here and pay attention to what is going on here with our own neighbors rather than try to take care of another country that doesn't like us that much and doesn't truely appreciate anythig from America at the moment.
