How can I download music on my Movie Maker?

I'm trying to make a video and it won't let me download the music I want to from itunes. Every time I select the song that I want, it won't let me. It says this every time I try to do it: cannot be imported because the codec required to play the file is not installed on your computer. If you have already tried to download and install the codec, close and restart Windows Movie Maker, and then try to import the file again. Does anyone know what this means? Please help me!
