How can I dullen a straight razor?

I'm going to posably buy one for a costume, but it can't be sharp, I need to dull it...

Cut through things you normally shouldn't with a knife/razor...like tree branches...

go out on a... STABBING SPREE!:) that should do it, lol only joking here's the real deal: don't buy a real knife, buy a fake one but if a real knife is all you have then use a corregated piece of metal and shape the tip  like a circle (don't use this method for the actual cutting part of the knife) for the actual blade, you'll need some elbow grease, rub to knives together and you'll see the results, in the end it'll still be able to peirce skin but kill them? i doubt it!

You should be able to use a grinder to dull the egde. If you don't have access to a grinder a file should work as well.
