How can I dye my hair purple without using any bleaching or chemical lighteners.?

My hair is black, but I dyed it deepest cherry earlier, I want it more brighter, but I don't wanna lighten my hair. Also, I don't want to use a different dye to lighten it first then go purple.

yes you can but your hair wont come out a complete purple color. it will come out a really dark black with a tint of purple in it.
