How can I dye white fabric into a pink fabric?

I'm making this pillowcase thing for a friend, and I got a white pillowcase. I started on it and then I realized I wanted a PINK pillowcase. Anyone know how to safely dye my white pillowcase into pink? =)

There are dyes called DIY you can buy at any fabric store where you throw them in the wash with the pillow cases.

This is what you do:

Fill a bowl with water.

Not like a cereal bowl, but like one of those ones you use for cooking things.

Make sure it is only about half full.

Put red food coloring in there and stir it around.

Let the pillow case soak in the bowl.

Check this every now and then, make sure it doesn't sit long enough to turn all the way red.

Stir it ever time you check it.

This works, I promise.

Go to your local craft store and pick up some fabric dye, follow the instructions, and don't forget to add salt to the wash to seal in the color.

You can go to any store that has a craft shop pick up some rit dye. That is the safeest and easiest to follow.
