  1. ok you can reprogram the curves to give more hp with a chip, programer or software.you can take this a step further and install a different cam and injectorsto work with the other mods

    (have a plan)

    goodluck

  2. -Cold Air Intake

    -Free Flowing Exhaust

    -ECU work (Hondata)

  3. You have several options. One is the K&N Air filter, a new air intake system, and maybe a new exhaust kit to up it, and make it rumble.

  4. Cold air intake

  5. intake, exhaust, ECU (K-pro), cams, TURBO!.

I had an 03 si and the best thing i did was throw on a turbo. Its surprising how much faster it was when it has a turbo. was able to beat out EVO's, STI's, G35's (on a roll tho, off the line the EVO & STI would launch like a m**o. FWD+turbo needs a good driver (or LSD) and im not a professional.

  6. This answer will probably don't like you but nothing absolutely nothing beats nitrous on power/money ratio.

That is the most cost effective modification you can make to your car.

Many people probably will tell you that it will ruin your engine, etc, etc.

But is like any other big power adder (turbo, supercharger) if don't use/install it correctly it will ruin your engine sooner or later.

I use it on my previous car for 3 years and never had a problem related to it and my engine was sparkling all that time.

You just need to follow four basic rules:

    1) Don't inject below 3,000rpm

    2) Don't hit the rev limiter while on juice

    3) Monitor the bottle pressure. High pressures could lead to lean fuel ratios.

    4) Don't abuse, I mean don't began consuming a full 10lb bottle in three days.

Nitrous when used properly can be as safe as a exhaust system.

  7. This is usually called BPU or "Basic Power Upgrades." For that you'll want COLD air intake (works better and worth more of your money than RAM air intake. thats short and sucks hot motor air), and nice 4-2-1 flowing header, and an opened exhaust (standard or hi-flow cat if you want or a "test pipe"). After that would prob be cams or a throttle body and intake manifold. Want to make sure theyre port matched. Possibly with a spacer too.

  8. ECU Programmers are not affordable and don't add a sufficient amount of horsepower on Naturally Aspirated engines, they only work wonders on stock Turbo/Supercharged engines since they can crank out much more horsepower.

A cold air intake, not a short ram intake, will help out with horsepower, as well as gas mileage.

So will a free flowing exhaust, including headers and a full cat back exhaust.

A bigger intake manifold will draw in more air to the motor, increasing horsepower, especially on the Si since it's a DOHC, not a SOHC like my civic.

Switching camshafts to stage 1 racing cams can also significantly increase bottom end torque from Skunk 2 Racing.

All of these parts are available on any Honda Performance Website or any Import Performance website carrying honda parts.

Oh, and throwing a turbo on your car without properly building up your motor will blow your engine to nothing when it overheats and detonates.  Honda's are not designed to handle boost., and throwing a turbo on an Si does not beat an evo.  I own an 06 Evo 9 MR.  No front wheel drive civic beats a 300 Horsepower All Wheel Drive evo.

  9. K&N Air filter

  10. air filter, bigger throttle body, headers nd exhaust.just a couple of things to help it breathe better.
