  1. Eat cheese before bed

  2. 1) Dream Recall. Keeping a record of your dreams helps your remember them easily, thus, you are more likely to lucid dream. Start keeping a dream journal.

    2) doing RC(Reality Checks)'s throughout the day. Most of them you can do without people noticing.

1- Looking at text, looking away, and looking back. In dreams, the text would be completly different (same with the time).

2- Poking your finger through your palm. In dreams, your finger would usually go through.

3- Studying your fingers whenever you have the time. In dreams, you'd usually have more or less fingers than 10.

4- Telling yourself, as you drift to sleep (say it aloud) that you'll lucid dream. And say it with confidence, no doubt. I say, "Tonight, I will lucid dream and control my dream."

5- Looking for dream signs. You need to do Dream Recall before this works. Dream signs are things you notice in each and every dream you have. For me, it's that I tend to go out and in a lot, and that the view is behind my head.

For Dream Recall to work, you need to ask yourself if you are dreaming before doing them. So, it's best to do them when something out of the ordinary is happening. It can be something small, just as long as it's not normal.

There are also things you can do to teach yourself how to fly and do magic (a lot think you can do this on your very first try -- It's actually harder then you think!) by visiting the link in source, below.

  4. It seems like there are a lot of different ways that people achieve it but my way is just asking myself if I remember getting up and ready in the morning.  If something seems strange then I asked myself the question and if the answer is no then I tell myself and the people in my dreams that it is a dream and they can do whatever they want.  My dreams become very promiscuous.  I also know if I see someone who is dead in real life (like my aunt who comes to me often) and when I see her I know it is a dream.  My grandfather says that he dreams of his father a lot but in his dreams he does not know that he is dead and said it seems so real.  I have asked several family members and none of them are able to lucid dream so I am unsure how I got the gift.  I do question my reality throughout the day as well and rerun my days memories through my mind to make sure that they run smoothly without holes or voids in my memory.  I think this helps strengthen my dream recognition. I also seem to have lucid dreams more if I get woken up in the early morning hours and then fall back asleep.  Maybe you could try setting an alarm for a few hours before you need to get up and then fall back asleep and see if you can dream for those final hours before having to start your day.

  5. eating mustard helps alot. especially brown mustard. it might have something to do with it being refined less. a fan going slow also helps with a light on behind it.

  6. you may not be able to control your dreams, but you should be able to control your thoughts before you go to sleep. Try thinking of positive thoughts!

Another idea is meditation. I know it probably sounds weird, but honestly, it can be powerful. It's all about gaining control over your own mind and allowing it to kind of go blank. It can be very soothing.

And since you've been diagnosed with GAD, i'm assuming that you're on some sort of meds? Are you seeing a doctor or therapist about your GAD? They could help you! Good luck. =)

  7. sit down and meditate before u go to bed, helps in relaxation

  8. well...

before you go to bed think of what you want to have a dream about, then fall asleep.  Once you get past falling asleep and go into deep sleep you will start to dream.  From there you have to realize that your dreaming and it is not reality. Im not quite sure how to tell you how to do it cause for me it just happens.  Once you realize that you should try and stay calm cause it can be easy to wake up at that point and everything will be lost.  They you are lucid dreaming.....
