How can I edit a page for fun?

On my old computer I had a tool that let me edit a a page. I could do whatever I wanted to. Like, I could edit it and it would be printable, but when I refresthed it it would all be back to normal...so dose anyone have a link or something to a tool that acts just like the one I discribed? Thanks in advanced

you dint mention which language you want to edit?

anyways if you're on mozilla you can add this addon which can edit, debug, and monitor CSS, HTML, and JavaScript live in any web page.
