I have a HP desktop and recorded the Olympic opening ceremony directly from my TV cable. I want to burn it to a CD but I get an error message that it is too long(4hrs). How can I edit it down so I can burn it. Or split it so I can put it on two CDs. If you know please explain in detail...I am computer stupid...Thanks.

  1. You can try compressing it to a smaller picture size - tell MovieMaker not to exceed 750 MB

You can also go through and edit out all the commercials and c**p you don't want.  That will reduce the filesize.

Or you can just wait - it will be out on DVD soon anyway.
