How can I edit a video? See details.......?

I want to film a home video but edit it so that it looks like a mini flick. how can i edit it myself? i am not too computer savy but just want to be able to zoom in and out and etc. thanks

I'd reccomend roxio media creator  to edit home videos. Its pretty user friendly, and you can play around with the software as it has lots of features. theres usually older versions online that can be bought cheap.To edit yourself just download it into your computer and then open the software and open the file, its easy.
