How can I edit videos from my sony handycam DCR-SR 42?

I have tried Windows Movie Maker and it doesn't allow the file format. Are there any other kinds of video editing software that will work with this Camcorder?

you can always convert your file to the copatible file for your handycam..

I recommend adobe premiere..

u can use the same way if they dont except the file u want
