I don't want to fix it, I just need the water out so it can be removed and replaced. It's a Maytag Neptune MAH4000 (front loader).

  1. It will drain if you remove the drain hose from the drain behind the washer, just use the biggest bucket you can carry, and hold the drain hose as low as possible.

  2. brake the door

  3. shop vac

  4. Or--you can get a short piece of hose that will reach the floor from the inside bottom of your washer basin.

Place a bucket or large pan on the floor in front of the washer. Fill the hose with water from your sink faucet. Cover both ends of the hose with your thumbs. Then place one end of the hose down into the washer tub, while still holding your thumb over the hose ends, then put the other end in the bucket.  Let go with your thumbs. The water will siphon out. If the bucket fills up, close off that hose end with your thumb again, and have someone empty the bucket. Put the empty bucket back under the hose and let go again.

    It works.

  5. You can suck the water out using a wet/dry vacuum.
