Question:

How can I enforce a child visitation agreement?

My ex and I have a child visitation order in effect. Yet he continually violates the terms of the agreement. He kept my daughter for 11 days, not allowing me to see her or speak to her. He came to my home when I was at work, and picked up the kids without my permission, even though it was not his visitation time. The police refuse to help, siting that we have joint legal/physical and they won't "force" the children to leave. I don't know what else to do.

  1. you file a motion in family court to modify the current court order due to the voilation of how the ex is handling.  The police will not interfere with a family court, court order..but I would seek out legal advice

  2. You need to get an attorney and file charges, that is the only thing that you can do. Don't let him do this to you or your kids, my ex tried to do the same thing and now I have custody and he is gone.

Good Luck and never give up

  3. what are you asking me for?
