  1. you can't erase her account, but you can ground her until she does it herself. that's a serious situation. she could actually be sending her pictures to 50 year old child molesters. sit her down and explain the seriousness of the situation. show her examples (online news articles) of bad things that have happened to girls that have done things like this.

  2. The age limit for myspace is indeed 14, so she isn't breaking any "rules" as far as they are concerned.  However, all the other stuff is clearly inappropriate.  As her father, why not simply tell her that it needs to be deleted since she isn't using it appropriately?  She can go into her "account settings" and delete her myspace page.  Stand over her and make sure she actually deletes it.  Then, restrict her computer and internet usage since she clearly is not mature enough to handle it responsibly.  At only 14, she should have parental blocks on her computer so that she can't go to inappropriate sites.  She should also be monitored closely.  You are the parent.  You need to put your foot down.

  3. That's a very good ideal my space is full of Pedophiles and perverts you have to write the main guy and tell him ( TOM) is his name and tell him you want her page deleted that how i deleted my sons good luck and good choice

  4. talk to her. threaten to take away the computer/internet

or you can set up a blocked website thing..if you have a internet router

or you can ultimately cut off her internet connection in total

  5. I wish I knew what to tell you.

  6. The only way you can keep her from being stupid on the computer .....is to monitor her use.

Deleting her profile means nothing...because she'll just make another.

Don't allow her to have access to the computer unsupervised and you have a better chance of keeping her on PG sites.

If the computer is in her room, take it out and put it in the kitchen.

You can also put policing software on the computer that will either block out certain websites, or log a history of what sites were visited so that you can monitor where she's been when you weren't looking over her shoulder.

Parents are the best and first line of defense in internet safety for our kids.  If they know that you'll be reviewing a log of all the sites that were visited...maybe she'll keep to the one's you've specified are acceptable.

    Good LUck

  7. you would need her password, and then you can deactivate her account, I deleted my account before, why dont you tell your daughter she is not to have a myspace, and you want her information to delete her account, your the parent remember?

  8. Um you need a password. and 14 is the "legal" age for myspace. But thats creepy that she is sending pics to crazy ppl. Sit down and have a serious talk with her.

  9. Install a keylogging program on her computer, it will record everything she types. This way you can recover her password and user name, from there you can erase the account.

  10. talking to her might be a more sensible idea but as i have a myspace account i can tell you the only way to delete it is to log on and delete it - of course you are unlikely to know the password or user name ... so you cant

  11. don't delete it... yet... first talk to her and try to figure out why she has a myspace... get her side of the story and then put in your side of why you don't want  her to have one... in my personal experience my mom has done this: i could keep my myspace but then she gets my password- and she can look at it anytime she wants... she won't like that- instead find a middle to meet it... like you being allowed to view her myspace when she is on

or talk to tom and explain that you don't want your daughter to be allowed an account and he might be able to delete it

  12. ya you need the password, then you can go in and delete it yourself.

I would suggest blocking the site from your computer at home, if that is where she is logging onto it from. Or take away her computer.. anything you can do to make her not go one there.

  13. You'll have to know her myspace user name and password, hack her account and delete it.

Follow these instructions on how to delete your myspace account

To delete your myspace account, log in to your account and click the Account Settings link next to your photo on your profile page. You will arrive at the Change Account Settings page. Right below the page title you will see three tiny links. Two of them, View My Profile and Edit My Profile are in red. The third link - Cancel Account is in gray, so it is not easily noticeable. The link forwards you to the page titled Cancel MySpace Account. Pretty easy to figure out from there.

  14. There is no way for you to delete it unless you know the password and email. I have 2 and i myself cant erase either. Sorry!

  15. You can contact myspace telling them that you dont want your daughter to have a myspace and to delete it..  tell them she doesnt have your permission.

  16. Well first off you need to know her username and password. Once you have that information then you just login, click on where it says myaccount, scroll down to the bottom and there should be an option that says cancel account in tiny blue letters.

Once you've done that you need to get a blocker of some kind where you have to login to it first and then it allows you to go to the approved sites that the parents (you) have set for her.

    Good Luck!

  17. she can be 14 and on myspace, according to the rules of myspace.. a lot of people dont set there right age.. it really isnt a big deal i think that if you erase her myspace its only going to cause more problems, try talking to her about it and why your upset

  18. Once you have the password all you have to do is go onto "account options/settings " and select delete account, and it sends an email to whatever email she linked it to. then you just have to click the link they give you on the email, and follow that. the myspace should be deleted in no more than two hours.

and on myspace, theres a guy named TOM who's the creator of myspace, and his FAQ explains how to delete it.

  19. Try talking to her. Making her delete it while you watch, which includes her logging onto myspace, deleting the account, going to her regular email and confirming the deletion..it will delete in a couple of days. If you cant get her to do that (you should be able to however) then make an account, go to your daughters profile and Report her profile to Myspace, they will delete it. You can say she is your daughter, she is lying about her age and she is sending inappropriate images on myspace. They will usually take care of it and send you a confirmation email....but she might just make another so you do need to talk to her and set some rules.
