How can I estimate my tax return?

I make a salary of 887.20 every 2 weeks (11.09 hourly). I work in Texas. I am single with no dependents, and I am not claimed as anyone's dependent. I claimed zero. Will I get all of the federal tax back that is being withheld? My yearly salary is $23,155.92. THank you for you help!

  1. No, you won't get all of it back.

Without dependents, no you will not get all the tax back.  You will not pay tax on the personal exemption amount and the standard deduction (roughly $8,750).  Any income beyond that you will be taxed on at the applicable rate.  I estimate your tax debt with no other income will be about $1,800-2,000.  Subtract your payments and if there is more left over, you have a refund.
