How can I evict a renter in Houston, TX?

I have been renting my home for nearly a year and am having serious problems reaching my renters and having them pay the entire rent on time. They are divorcing and it's more drama than I or my neighbors can handle. I have 2 questions. 1) How do I start the eviction process? I want to sell this property asap and need to get a realtor in there. I'm afraid the renters will just squat there and not allow anyone in. It doesn't help that I myself am in California right now and just can't stop by. 2) How do I report this on my renter's credit history? Does this just happen automatically when they are served eviction papers through the state?

  2. Go to yellow pages .com and find a real estate attorney in the houston area and make sure he handles evictions. He will take care of it for you.
